A three year project for UNICEF and the Ministry of Education working in partnership with a team from  Beijing Normal University to develop and implement a framework of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in schools.

There will be a particular emphasis on supporting ethnic minority children, children affected by migration and on promoting the Child Friendly Schools initiative. The main aim is to improve social and emotional learning to support the retention and learning levels of children in schools by so doing to help them become even more child friendly.
