Current Activities

The NCfLB has developed a reputation for expertise in developing policies strategies and cascade training at school, regional and national level.

NCfLB are working on a number of projects including:

 

Europe

Anti Action Bullying

The project will design and implement a new anti-bullying programme in schools from 5 EU countries. It draws on the experience of existing programmes and practices originated by the project partners in different cultural contexts and will provide further evidence of effective approaches to the reduction of bullying in schools that will inform the development of improved child centred, whole school strategies for adoption at European level.

China

A three year project to work with UNICEF and Beijing Normal University to develop and implement a framework of social emotional learning in schools catering particularly for ethnic minority children and children affected by migration. The aim is that the work will support the retention and learning levels of children in schools.

FYR Macedonia

In FYR Macedonia for UNICEF and the FYR Macedonian Government Two contracts to develop a Violence Reduction in Schools programme, national policy and school evaluation programme. The programme is now in use in all schools in Macedonia following the training of all school leaders by the team of lead facilitators we worked with over 2 years.

Romania

A three year contract with the Romanian Government to write and deliver national standards, a leadership training programme and an inspection schedule for all school principals. A three year contract to introduce a Violence Reduction in Schools programme into all schools. Providing consultants and trainers in one region for the development of a programme to improve behaviour in schools.
